Our range for restaurants, cafés, production kitchens and wholesalers currently consists of four selected cakes that generate happiness wherever they’re served. Each cake is baked with care at our bakery in Torslanda, using safe methods and carefully selected ingredients. As part of our Concious Cakes sustainability initiative, we only work with suppliers who comply with our strict requirements for food and the environment. Furthermore, the fact that we do not work with flour in our bakery means that all our cakes are gluten-free. And our freezing method means that we are able to guarantee long-lasting products. In this way, our cakes remain fresh for longer in the freezer, enabling you to prevent unnecessary waste.

THIS IS ALMONDY

For 40 years, we have been baking cakes that have created an extra slice of happiness at millions of coffee breaks and parties, all around the world. The bakery first opened on Aschebergsgatan in the centre of Gothenburg, in 1982. Two friends, Kent and Lennart, had recently discovered an original Swedish recipe from the 1890s, and demand for our delicious almond cakes soon began to spread beyond the confines of the city. We continued to grow, and moved to larger premises in Torslanda, which has remained our home to the present day. We now bake more than 80,000 cakes every day, which are then sent out to more than 50 countries. We’re really happy about this, because in our world, cake makes everything better.
