Almondy’s delicious cakes make it easy to create pleasurable moments, where you can come together with family and friends and give your taste buds a treat. Our use of the phrase ‘Happiness is a piece of cake’ helps us to realise our vision of spreading happiness around the world, every day. The spreading of happiness also means that we are actively involved and contribute to ensuring that our planet remains a happy to place on which to live. For us, this involves the continued building of a sustainable culture, where everyone who works with us, whether directly or indirectly, shares our belief that it is by acting together that we can make a difference. In big steps, or slice by slice. One cake at a time. We simply call this: Conscious Cakes.


HIGHEST QUALITY – FROM THE RAW INGREDIENTS TO THE FINISHED CAKE
Our aim is to always maintain the highest quality, from each individual ingredient to the finished cake. The reward for our efforts is when you return to the shop to buy another Almondy cake. And then another. And then another. This is one of the reasons why we never compromise on our strict requirements where quality is concerned.
Our cakes shall be safe to eat
In line with the EU’s requirements, we work with preventive quality assurance in accordance with the HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) principle, which is a standardised working method whereby we map, assess and control any risks that are involved in the entire production process, from the raw ingredients to the finished cake.
Quality certification makes a difference
We have been certified in accordance with the BRC global standard for food safety since 2002, and we have also been certified in accordance with the IFS International Food Standard since 2009. Furthermore, several of our international partners and customers conduct their own scrutiny of our cakes, which is of course something we welcome.
