Not all cakes can cater for all tastes. Perhaps there’s a cake that you’ve been dreaming of, or that you can’t find and are really keen to taste? You can have as much fun with our cakes as you wish. But check for any allergens and other important considerations first.
Always read the list of ingredients on the box
Alongside our ambition to spread happiness around the world, we also have great responsibility and consideration for your health. For us, this means that we must always be clear when it comes to listing contents and information about allergens. We therefore strive to do everything we can to ensure that the information provided about our cakes is correct. If you have any allergies, you should always read the list of ingredients on the box in the shop at the time of purchase, because the ingredients used can sometimes change.
An important symbol for those who are gluten-intolerant
All of our cakes that are made with an almond base have been gluten-free since 1982. This is great, as this has made it possible for even more people to have their cake and eat it. Do you have a gluten-intolerance? If so, make sure that this symbol is featured on the packaging. This means that we are certified by the Swedish Coeliac Association, and that the cake does not contain even the slightest trace of gluten.
At Almondy, we are driven by two major aims: to make irresistibly good cakes using good ingredients, and to make it easy for you to crown any kind of occasion with an extra slice of happiness. It is therefore immensely pleasing for us when we are able to achieve both of these. Our Daim Cake is a good example.
Since we first launched the Daim Cake in 2001, it has been insatiably popular. In Sweden alone, we eat more than 1,000,000 Daim Cakes every year! That’s the same as 115 cakes every hour of every day. This amazing success has enabled us to develop even more delicious cake recipes over the years, and today we are able to offer a wide variety of cakes, including gluten-free, milk-free and vegan alternatives. In our world, everything is better with cake, and nobody should have to have a coffee break or attend a party without a slice of cake on their plate.
